During muzzle loader season most of the deer hunting/rut has died down. It's getting colder and the deer are mostly spending time finding food. The deer start to group up and it's not unusual to see 15-20 deer in a food plot at a time.

This is one of our favorite times to hunt. It seems like every time there’s a large heard of deer in the field just before dark a mature buck makes an appearance. This is why most our time hunting during muzzle loader is spent overlooking a field.

Each hunter is responsible for securing his or her own hunting license prior to leaving for the woods. You will be required to show your license before your hunt.
